Philadelphia, PA/Bengaluru, India: Engage Together is leveraging Qlik and its analytics platform, together with implementation partner Pomerol Partners, to help communities accelerate responses to human trafficking.
New results announced on UN World Day Against Trafficking in Persons demonstrate how trusted, connected data is helping reduce assessment timelines, improve victim identification, and build a foundation for future AI-powered insights that can strengthen anti-trafficking efforts.
Released in conjunction with UN World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, the findings highlight how Engage Together uses connected data to help communities overcome fragmented information and siloed efforts.
The approach strengthens victim identification and early intervention strategies while enabling more coordinated anti-trafficking responses and survivor care.
Founded by human rights lawyer Ashleigh Chapman, Engage Together works with offices of attorneys general, law enforcement agencies, and local anti-trafficking task forces to help communities better understand why trafficking occurs and how to respond more effectively.
To modernize its approach, the nonprofit partnered with Pomerol Partners, whose expertise in data integration and analytics helps unify fragmented public and private data into a single actionable view for communities.
Using the Qlik analytics platform, Engage Together combines qualitative and quantitative data from government agencies, nonprofits, public sources, and community organizations into a unified view.
This enables local leaders, investigators, policymakers, and service providers to identify risks, allocate resources, and coordinate action more effectively.
By validating and connecting data from multiple sources, Engage Together is also establishing a trusted data foundation that can responsibly support future AI capabilities.
The organization says this foundation will help communities identify patterns more quickly, generate deeper insights, and accelerate responses to human trafficking.

The collaboration has produced measurable outcomes beyond operational improvements. In one community, data analysis revealed that local law enforcement and service providers required additional training to recognize trafficking indicators.
Following targeted interventions informed by data analytics, victim identifications increased from two in one year to more than 600 the following year, reflecting improved recognition rather than increased trafficking activity.
In North Texas, Engage Together analyzed trafficking data across 17 counties, producing evidence that informed statewide policy recommendations while helping communities identify service gaps and prioritize resources for survivors.
In Alabama, data-driven insights identified the need to mobilize healthcare providers in high-risk communities. As a result, initiatives are underway to equip healthcare professionals in targeted areas to recognize and respond to human trafficking alongside the statewide task force.
